Scrubs & Exfoliators
Rough heels, dry knuckles and dull-looking feet are common in the UAE, where sandals, dust, heat and frequent washing all take their toll. A good exfoliating scrub removes that build-up of dead skin in a few minutes and is the easiest way to keep hands and feet looking soft and fresh between salon visits.
Our scrub
Yusma Hand & Foot Whitening Scrub is a creamy 225g scrub with fine exfoliating grains in a rich base of petroleum jelly, beeswax and sorbitol. It buffs away rough, dull skin and leaves a soft, moisturised finish. A hand and foot scrub also comes in the Yusma 5 in 1 Beauty Pack.
How to exfoliate hands and feet at home
- Soak: warm water for five minutes softens the top layer.
- Scrub: massage in circles, spending the most time on heels and the sides of the feet.
- Rinse and dry: pat gently, especially between the toes.
- Moisturise: apply a rich body lotion straight away to lock in softness.
Scrub questions
How often should I exfoliate my feet?
Two to three times a week. Over-scrubbing can make skin sore and even thicker over time.
Can a scrub make hands and feet whiter?
Removing dead skin makes hands and feet look brighter and cleaner. A scrub does not change your natural skin colour.
Can I use a hand and foot scrub on my body?
Yes, on rough areas such as elbows and knees. Avoid the face and any broken or sunburnt skin.
What about cracked heels?
Mild dryness improves with regular scrubbing and moisturising. Deep or painful cracks should be checked by a doctor or podiatrist, especially if you have diabetes.
